The support roller is divided into two types including support roller with catch wheel and support roller without catch wheel. A set of support rollers includes two support roller groups and a support roller base, and some support rollers have a catch wheel group. The supporting roller is the load-bearing device of the rotary kiln barrel, so the support roller is a part that works under heavy load. When the supporting roller is in series movement due to the axial movement of the kiln body, the supporting roller can be supported on the top of the bronze bush by the retaining ring.

The thrust roller is installed on both sides of the rotary kiln rolling ring, which is mainly indicated and properly prevents the axial movement of the cylinder. There is generally only one pair of thrust roller, which is clamped on both sides of the rolling ring, and the distance from the two sides of the rolling ring is determined by the allowable axial movement distance of the barrel to ensure the contact between the rotary kiln rolling ring and the supporting roller. Both ends act as sealing devices.

In order to prevent the rolling ring from falling when the cylinder is heated to expand or axially traverse, the surface width of the support roller should be 10-80mm wider than the rolling ring.

The cylinder of the mechanical transmission rotary kiln is covered with a large gear, which is generally located in the middle of the rotary kiln. The large gear is driven by the small gear located on the civil foundation of the transmission device. The general structure of mechanical transmission is that the main drive motor drives the main reducer, and then drives a pair of open gears. After multiple speed changes, the small gear connected to the large ring gear can be driven at the required speed, so that the large ring gear drives the rotation of the kiln body can meet the requirements of process operation.

The auxiliary drive motor is connected to the high-speed input shaft of the reducer after a set of speed reduction devices. The main transmission motor and the reducer are directly connected by a coupling. In addition to the low-speed output shaft, the main reducer is connected to a motor at both ends of the high-speed input shaft, one is the main engine transmission machine, and the other is the auxiliary transmission motor.

Rotary kiln bearings are generally sliding bearings with dilute oil lubrication and water cooling tubes. Considering the possible bending of the cylinder, the load on the supporting roller is suddenly increased and the working environment of the supporting roller is bad. Bearings must have a large safety factor and good lubrication and sealing and water cooling. In order to adjust the axial tandem of the cylinder, the support roller bearing of the rotary kiln must be made adjustable and moveable so that the support roller can move in the horizontal direction.

During the working of cement rotary kiln, the barrel body rotates under the action of rotating device, the raw meal and other materials are fed into the barrel body from the feed port, and the material moves in a circle around the barrel body and conforms to the motion from the high end to the low end under the action of rotating and tilting device. Raw materials are discharged from the bottom end of kiln barrel after firing through decomposition, sintering and other technological processes in the rotary kiln.

1. Quantities of liquid phase

As the main mineral of cement clinker, tricalcium silicate is carried out by liquid phase sintering, in which the firing of cement clinker requires the liquid phase to be generally controlled in the range of 20-30%( under current process conditions (precalciner kiln)). This range is for all cement plants, and it is obviously too wide for a certain cement plant. Each plant should find out own suitable control range according to its actual situation.

2. Burnability

The burnability of cement clinker is the price it takes to achieve the calcination goal. In a specific device, the raw meal is calcined into clinker with desired properties. The properties of various raw meals are different, and the cost is also different. It reflects the difficulty of calcining. The burnability of raw meal is not only related to its fineness and chemical composition but also related to the mineral structure and even the formation conditions that constitute it.

3. Fineness of raw meal

For the cement clinker rotary kiln, the finer the raw meal is milled, the smaller the particle size and the larger the specific surface area, the larger the contact surface between the components, the greater the chance of diffusion and reaction, and larger the capacity, also faster the solid phase reaction. However, the finer the raw meal is, the higher the power consumption for grinding. The appropriate degree of fineness should be determined according to the actual situation of each cement plant. The raw material fineness of most cement plants is mainly evaluated by 0.08mm sieve residue, but in fact, it is decided by 0.2mm sieve residue.
